TRADITIONAL GUM DO BOOT CAMP

with Chief Master Vincent Raimondi

Building off its launch at Spring Nationals, Chief Master Raimondi would like to invite you to experience all that the Traditional Gum Do program has to offer. Along with the fundamentals, attendees will get to participate in combat sparring, Korean archery and traditional mat cutting. Register now to ensure your spot in this exciting, daylong event. *A plastic, wooden or metal training sword along with all your safety gear is required. All other equipment will be provided.*

TACTICAL FIREARMS ENGAGEMENT SEMINAR

With Grand Master Caruso & Bruce Siddle

A TWO DAY PROGRAM
October 20, 1pm-5pm and October 21, 8am-5pm

This Basic Course is for anyone who:

  • May be considering purchasing a firearm
  • Already owns a firearm
  • Considering or already possess a concealed carry license/permit
  • Interested in advancing their firearms training

The course content is science based and will cover the topics of shooting stances, draw strokes, perception and reaction drill. In addition, you will learn precision shooting techniques, weapon control techniques, and examine assailants Macro and Micro movements. Participants are required to bring a holster. All other training tools will be provided.

Learn how to seamlessly integrate modifications, accommodations, and adaptations into your curriculum and teaching practices to benefit ATA students of all abilities.

COMBAT SPARRING CURRICULUM

What sets good fighters apart from great fighters is their strategy and ability to adapt quickly. We all know that winning is a result of efficient and consistent training, not brute force. Therefore, the Training Department is proud to introduce the official ATA Combat Sparring Curriculum. Our team has gone back to the drawing board and sought the insight of multiple time world champions to provide you with the curriculum rooted in results, not theory. As a result, we’ve simplified the process to teach your students detailed drills and effective strikes that are fun and proven to work in the academy and the ring.

Whether you are a competitor or an instructor, these seminars are for you.  Join us as we offer form training & clarifications in 7 different Protech weapons.  Instructors will review each weapon form to make sure you are at the top of you game. Knowledge of the form and weapons is required.

INJURY PREVENTION AND PERFORMANCE TRAINING

for Songahm Martial Artists with Mrs. Krista Kaminski

You are already a great martial artist so now become more knowledgeable in injury prevention and athletic performance. This seminar will introduce you to some key concepts in sports specific performance training and injury prevention in martial arts. Conclude by exploring 2 particular areas of interest: dynamic versus static stretching and eccentric hamstring training.

COLOR BELT WEAPON CURRICULUM

For such a long time, the focus of ATA weapons training was for Black Belts. Understanding that Color Belts make up a large portion of your student base, we are excited to bring you Color Belt Weapons Curriculum. In this seminar, you will be provided a structured curriculum that includes Basic Techniques, Individual Drills, Combos, Partner Drills, and even a simple Form to teach. The color belt Mid-Range Jahng Bong Curriculum was introduced at Worlds and will be taught in this seminar along with Single and Double Ssahng Jeol Bongs, so we hope you will join us. Bring your Mid-Range Jahng Bong along with two (2) Ssahng Jeol Bongs and be a part of this new update to ATA weapons training.
